The colloquium will address the impact of innovative research and research applications on the covid19 crisis within the core technologies and end-user applications of the DIM ELICIT including microfluidics, biophotonics, organsonchips, AI (artificial intelligence)…

Continued research for covid19 diagnostic tests remains crucial despite the implementation of vaccination. Quick, cheap, and easily accessible tests are of paramount importance to stop the spread of the virus.

Furthermore, better understanding the virus structure and genetics, or physiopathology of the infection, will lead to the discovery of new medicines and therapeutics, for an improved patient care.

This is why at the beginning of the crisis, the DIM ELICIT launched a special call for proposals to support projects aiming at developing innovative technologies and methods regarding the analysis, diagnosis and/or treatment to fight SARS-CoV-2.
