Methods of intervention

DIM ELICIT acts for science

Each year, the DIM Empowering life sciences with innovative technologies (ELICIT) releases one or two calls to fund scientific projects. Through these calls, the DIM aim to encourage tech and bio research teams to collaborate on collaborative innovation-oriented projects. These calls will target two types of projects:

  1. Co-development of new innovative methods/technology
  2. Dissemination of methods/technologies in order to develop new applications

Selected projects are partly or totally funds on:

  • PhD allocation (3 years) + 30k€ of running costs
  • Post-doctoral allocation (2 years) + 20k€ of running costs
  • Engineer salary (18 months) + 20k€ of running costs
  • Equipment purchase (max 66%) with a maximal amount of 300k€ for a total of 450 k€

The DIM ELICIT wishes to take part in the organization and the funding of events in its thematic areas. End of 2018, the DIM ELCIT will organize a structuring event for the research community.
