Recap of the science discovery internship of pupils from « Les Pyramides » secondary school with the DIM ELICIT, Qi², SIRTEQ and Respore

“Sciences for all” operation – The sciences in all their DIMensions !

From March 9 to 13, the DIM ELICIT, the DIM Qi² , the DIM SIRTEQ and the DIM Respore, in collaboration with the association Planète Sciences hosted for the first time an edition of the « Sciences Pour Tous » operation, supported by the Région Île-de-France.
 

It consisted of a one-week science discovery internship organized for twenty-four pupils of secondary school (« Les Pyramides » in Evry). For the young students, this internship was an opportunity to explore science… in all its DIMensions !
 

Each DIM planned a full day-visit with the help of one or several partners from its network. The DIM ELICIT opened the journey on Monday, in the « Laboratoire d’Hydrodynamique (LadHyx) » at the École polytechnique with a tour of the premisces and various experiments, mainly on microfluidics and its applications.
